Through careful and precise planning, this year’s show is geared to be one to remember. When the ocean spray touches your feet, you will be sure to plan again for next year’s show. The following information will assist you in preparing for what will be a memorable experience.
How about reaching our destination by Air
If you arrive by day, you will witness the beauty of the British Virgin Islands as you glide over our mountainous islands and view our many inlets that make the BVI indeed “Nature's Little Secrets’. If arriving by night, the glimmer of the lights as you approach our islands will be equally exciting. When booking your flight, be sure to connect through another Caribbean airport such as San Juan, St. Thomas, Antigua, St. Kitts or St. Maarten/St. Martin as there are no direct flights from USA, Canada, Europe, Africa or South America. Please note that our main airport is the Terrence B. Lettsome Airport (EIS) which is located on Beef Island. This will be your first site of one of our many cays as it is linked to Tortola by the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge. You are now a step closer to walking on the sand in Cane Garden Bay.
Arrival through San Juan, Puerto Rico - Airport Code SJU
Most of our visitors arrive through San Juan, Puerto Rico where regular connecting flights to our island is most seamless. The agents that operate from Puerto Rico are American Eagle, LIAT, and Cape Air.
Arrival through St. Thomas - Airport Code STT
Arrival through St. Thomas is also an option and with connection to Tortola via one of the many Ferries traveling from Red Hook or the central port of Charlotte Amalie. Ferries traveling from the aforementioned ports will travel to either West End or Road Town and each person is required to clear Immigration and Customs. Below you will find a list of ferries and there contact numbers. This list will also assist you traveling from St. John and Virgin Gorda to the Music Festival. Continue to visit the site for additional information, but please note that the last ferry to the BVI is normally at 5 p.m. from Red Hook.

Ground Transportation
Upon arrival at Beef Island or West End, taxis services will be onsite to transport you to your final destination. If you are transferring to any of our marinas, an agent from the respective marinas will be there to meet you. We encourage you to visit the BVI TOURIST board website at www.bvitourism.com for additional information on this amazing group of islands, named the BVI. Wherever you chose to stay, you won’t be there much as we hope you spend most of your time in Cane Garden Bay savoring local dishes, dancing to great music and visiting with new and old friends.
Ready to purchase Tickets
We anticipate each event will be sold out and as such we recommend that you take advantage of pre-ticket sales beginning on Saturday 3 May. Each night the entrance fee is only $30.00 but we suggest that you buy the weekend pass for $70.00. Tickets are available now for a special price of $25.00 at ticket outlets. In Tortola outlets are Bolos, Infinite Solutions, Road Town Fast Ferry and in St. Thomas Urban Threads.
Getting to the Festival by Car
Persons can drive to the events but remember the earlier you get there, the better your chances are for easy parking. We have various parking areas where a fee of $10 per night will be charged. For security reasons, cars will not be allowed to park on the streets in Cane Garden Bay therefore, all cars entering must purchase a parking ticket. This allows the free flow of traffic for emergency personnel. Cars not legally parked will be removed by the police.
Getting to the Festival by Shuttle
Amazing events attracts large crowds, so with careful planning, we have arranged shuttle services from Road Town Central Administration Complex. A box office for ticket sales will also be established in that area to assist with an easy entry into Cane Garden Bay. Each shuttle will cost $5 to and from Cane Garden Bay. Our dispatchers will ensure that this process is made easy.
To Cane Garden Bay: 6pm – 11:00pm nightly
From Cane Garden Bay: 11:30pm –End of Show.
Arriving by Boat
Persons arriving by boat to the exciting harbor of Cane Garden Bay are welcomed. Moorings balls will be limited but anchoring will also be permitted in safe areas away from established reefs. We suggest that you purchase tickets in advance through your local yachting company or a member of the committee will deliver tickets to your boating company. You will be joined by several boaters whom have made attending the music festival an annual festivity.
It’s Show Time!
We intend to begin the activities for each night at 6 p.m. We encourage you to get to the show early as our monitors are noting that the show’s attendance will be exceptional. The event each night is anticipated to end by 3 a.m. What an amazing line up!
Security at the Show!
This is the one area where there is no flexibility! We will be providing security at all entrances into Cane Garden Bay, on the main ferry dock and the dingy dock. For the first time, we will be also providing harbor security in anticipation of increase water traffic for the weekend.
Emergency Services
At the show, we take the safety of all of visitors seriously. Emergency Personnel including Police, Fire, Paramedics/Doctors, Red Cross, and Social Services will be in attendance.
Vendors at the Show
For persons interested in being a vendor during the events, there are fifteen (15) areas available at a rate of $300 for the weekend. Applications can be obtained from Big Banana Restaurant in Cane Garden Bay. After showing proof of being assigned a location, please register at the Trade Department for a Vendors license specific for the weekend.
